As dentistry evolves with advancing technology, we’ve dedicated ourselves to staying up-to-date with the newest developments, techniques, and equipment. Our mission is to make your visits more comfortable, while providing safe treatment that accentuates your natural, beautiful smile.

For many patients, being comfortable at the dentist’s office also includes incorporating the right dental sedation option before treatment begins. In addition to nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral conscious sedation, Dr. Gorman is also one of few dentists who are certified to provide intravenous (IV) sedation in-office for patients who require a more potent sedative.

Our focus on patient comfort begins as soon as you walk into our office, with amenities that include warm blankets and pillows for you to relax and make yourself at home! We also offer massaging dental chairs in our operatories so you can stay comfortable throughout your exam or dental treatment.

In our quest to provide more comfortable and more effective treatment options, we often utilize advanced lasers for a number of cosmetic and restorative procedures. From reshaping teeth and gum tissues to whitening teeth and detecting cavities, lasers can enhance the precision and esthetic results of several dental treatments.

Education is the cornerstone of good dental care, and with our intraoral camera we can show you exactly what we see during your dental examination. The camera produces instant digital images of your teeth and oral tissues, and displays them on a monitor. While searching for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and more, we can also better explain your dental health by showing you the specifics.

Laser-assisted cavity detection reveals troublesome spots on your tooth enamel before a cavity fully develops, without the use of an X-ray machine. Areas of tooth decay will give off higher levels of fluorescence that the advanced, low-intensity DIAGNOdent system will highlight. The early detection of a cavity will allow us to treat it before it causes significant damage to your tooth structure.

Digital radiography produces instant digital images of your oral structures, unlike film-based radiography that takes time to develop and relies on chemical processing. Digital X-rays also produce up to 90 percent less radiation, making them more beneficial for your overall health, as well as the environment.

Caries View Transillumination technology allows us to view cavities early by illuminating troublesome areas of the tooth. Through the technology, Dr. Gorman can help you prevent or treat cavities before tooth decay severely affects your tooth structure.

We take the safety and comfort of our patients very seriously, which is why we now have a state-of- the-art sterilization center. Every piece of equipment we use is extensively cleaned and sterilized to maximize our patients’ health and safety.
